CEDAR FALLS – Jane Marie Grimmius, 88, of Cedar Falls passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born July 2, 1933, in Iowa, to Richard and Grace Holdiman. She graduated from Dunkerton High School and attended Iowa State Teachers’ College. She was married to Milford Grimmius. She was the Manager of the Crimmins Cattle Company Restaurant in Des Moines. She also worked as a para-educator in the Norwalk School System. She is survived by a nephew Scott (Tracy) Schiefelbein of Cedar Falls; three great nephews, Hunter Schiefelbein of Cedar Falls, Dakota Schiefelbein of Harlan and Tanner Schiefelbein of Cedar Falls. Also, a daughter in law, Karen Grimmius of Des Moines. Preceded in death by; her parents; her husband; her son Michael Grimmius and her sister Josephine Schiefelbein. Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls. Private burial at Fairview Cemetery in Dunkerton is planned.
